Who are the best Growth Hackers/Marketers to work for in the UK tech scene?
After a couple years of reading GrowthHackers.com and reaching a phase where I would like to work for and learn from the best. I would love to know who is making waves in the UK Growth Hacking scene?
I looked into the top influencers on our platform at Klear and found those amazing Growth Hackers:
James Blute (@JamesBlute)
Jason Burrows (@jasoncreation)
Kerry Butters (@kesbutters)
Ian Anderson Gray (@iagdotme)
Lilac Bullock (@lilachbullock)
Tim Hughes (@Timothy_Hughes)
Brian Halligan (@bhalligan), and more and more great Ghackers.
Check it out on klear.com.
@ed_stephens_1 any insight to share?
Ah hello @Hila_Qu !
Good old England - my knowledge on this is a lot worse than who the good founders to follow are. I think maybe a better way to address this is to look at the companies that are undergoing growth and then use Linkedin to see if you can work out the head honchos.
You'd have to look at companies like:
- Happn (not entirely UK based + their head of growth went to Grabble)
- One Fine Stay
(insert other UK growth company)
We face a bit of a strange paradox in the UK, we have some exceptionally talented people but there seems to be a slight opinion of 'if they're that good' - why don't they work in the states.
Interesting, I remember headspace from UK as well? But I understand they grow strong natrually
Great idea. The UK community is definitely more interspersed it seems!
Hey Kieran, check out what we are doing in the growth team at Skyscanner https://medium.com/@Skyscanner
Disclaimer: I work for Skyscanner.
Thanks for the share Douglas!
I've been an early adopter of Skyscanner. Maybe you drove that
Is your growth team hiring?
Hi Kieran, apologies for the delay in response. Yes we are currently hiring, you can see our latest vacancies here. http://www.skyscanner.net/jobs/growth/
@gszedlak guess you might have something to add as well
Good work Yuv, i've actually met Mr.Blute. Good work on tagging people too.
I guess the question is are these individuals leading influencer marketers e.g your Gary Vee types or the guys behind the scenes using API's and automation.
Thanks for putting that list together though!
I'm going to chuck @vincentdignan in the mix for this list as well. I went to his talk and it was darn good.
He's got a new book out http://queue.social/hvKStu3
