In 2017, marketers are required to equip themselves with technical knowledge and analytical mindset on top of creativity. There has been a lot of changes in the past 5 years, and I see that there will be more changes to come in the next 5 years. What could be the 3 most important skills in 2020, including newly added skill-sets if any?

    You're absolutely right. The skill set of an ideal digital marketer has changed drastically over years, but predominantly revolved around 3 key pillars - Branding (Identity, Communication, Community building, Content Marketing, High blitz brand campaigns), Performance (Includes growth, customer acquisition, retention, analytics etc) & Technical know-hows (Understanding of platforms/technologies that enables marketing). The pillars are more or less going to remain the same in the years to come, while the skill asks within these pillars may change, as we see more innovation.
