What things should I look closely at when migrating web hosting services? I'm switching from BlueHost to SiteGround... thinking about loss of data, SEO effects, Social Graph effects, downtime, etc... Anything specific that I should look at for this kind of Wordpress website migration?

    1. Dead Links are a killer so make sure that you use the same URL structure as you did previously. For example, if your blog URL structure was https://www.website.com/blog/2017/july/post1 make sure it isn't https://www.website.com/blog/post1.

    2. Some providers have Wordpress plugin restrictions - if you rely on a caching plugin to speed-up your site on the old provider you might not be able to use it on the new provider.

    3. Pay for a migration plugin like UpDraft - it will make the clone/migration process a thousand times easier.

    Good luck!
