After few discussions with my VP Sales I am considering purchasing a CRM. Salesforce is the leader and I want something super stable (even after what happen recently) and easy to use. My point is I would like to provide the best tools to my sales team that can be synchronized with Salesforce CRM. I am ready to purchase 5-10 software but it has to be very efficient and boost their productivity. Any advices with previous experiences are welcome!

    First Salesforce CRM is a very good choice as they are the leader and provide a very stable cloud based solution with a an awesome customer service.
    Then here my non exhaustive list of top 5 softwares integrated with salesforce:
    - SalesforceIQ (track emails views, openning, ect)
    - Evernote (right down notes about your customers)
    - Salesfinder (Prospect customers on social media and extract all contact info into Salesforce CRM)
    - Conga (Generate and report document of any types)
    - Hubspot (Synchronized your inbound lead CRM with your sales CRM)

    Definitely Hubspot and MailChimp! Both are necessary

    If your goal is productivity, then I would stay away from Salesforce. I would recommend Close.io for your CRM. It can integrate with whatever services you want it to via Zapier. While there are many tools available for Salesforce, that's because it is dependent on 3rd-party tools for functionality. Those are already built-in to Close.io.

    For Sales team it all starts with quality Leads. So, having a proper lead gen software that integrates with salesforce is a must. I've been using Aeroleads.com with SalesForce and also AeroMail which is built into it for email marketing. For lead management, I think SalesLoft should work great.

    There a many sales enablement tools that integrate with SalesForce, but it all depends on the specific function.

    For CRM you did the right choice. Saleceforse is the leader and as they are leader all other companies who provide lead generation, b2b solution, etc. They try hard to make api for integration with Salesforce in order to provide all in one solution for SDRs. The same way we are trying to make an api for SimilarTech.com so you can easily use with Salesforce for finding leads, their real contacts which really work and contact them. There are some many features like filtering with website category, traffic, technology used etc. Anyway, I like the idea to have Salesforce and integrate it with other tools, but what I know is it's better that before giving tool for the team I would integrate several tests from my end and then see if it worths or not. Also, I would suggest to integrate it with your inbound marketing tool (HubSpot, Marketo or the one which you use).

    If you're just starting out with Sfdc, I highly recommend getting Paul Goodey's Salesforce Admin cookbooks and make sure you have all the proper workflows and automation in place (fields that auto-populate when an action is taken, data quality validations, etc..) before you start plugging tools in.

    Your CRM data will go to hell without having a plan for data quality governance in a few months without doing so.

    If you are beyond that point, datanyze is a must have for prospecting and a docusign integration is indispensable for accelerating the velocity of your closed won opportunity stage.
