I've been working with my clients lately on a new marketing email lately. Basically, I've found a way to track returning customers and what products they are viewing even before adding to cart. I can then send them an email personalized to what products they were viewing, with either just more detail, deals, etc.
I'm finding my clients have anywhere from 20-60% of their customers returning and searching through products and then not buying. I'd love to work with some other marketers on seeing if this could be a new widespread email marketing tactic. Anyone interested in seeing their customer behavior and whether or not this would be useful to you or your clients?
