Facebook launches interactive full-screen ads called Canvas.  A feature that allows us to create landing page directly on facebook, without sending prospects to the website. Canvas offers full-screen ads – basically complete mini websites designed around specific products.     This is cool......really cool in my opinion.

    If you want users to engage build content that actually makes use of the mobile accelerometer etc. The click thrus' just to see 'what design has been implemented' will surely be worth it.

    I would say they've really sat down and thought hard about how their users are engaging with mobile and this shows a clear understanding of that relationship....where to be honest I think companies like Twitter have failed.

    I really liked their idea, can't use it for now for any of my projects, but looking forward to see how companies will use it. This is a great way to engage mobile users on facebook and add more value than to the desktop ones, also it will encourage marketing/advertising companies to create better and better content everytime.

    Digital companies which offer social media management services now have to strive more to develop a really good campaign, test their ideas and see on which "market" of facebook they can use it.

    Also! I like that canvas has .gifs as well.

      I agree with you, Vlad.

      I also believe that designers will have a great role in practicing their growth strategies through Canvas.

    I think this will be one of Facebook's strongest ad products, alongside Dynamic Product Ads.

    -Appeals to both brand and direct response marketers
    -Provides significantly more screen real estate than basically any other ad unit in the Social landscape
    -Allows for aesthetically pleasing mix of content – video, image, copy
    -Is a great unit for telling stories and presenting product
