What are the implications of a switch to forced SSL on SEO rank
It's an .htaccess rule for Apache that sees an incoming request and instead routes it to the https version of the page. Does this sound like something that will force us to rerank these pages? Thanks!
CareGuide operates just under 30 different marketplaces. In order to see the effects of this, we are doing a staged upgrade. We started by upgrading 1 site. Then a few more.
Now, all but our 7 largest sites have forced SSL. So far, we haven't seen any impact whatsoever. It's been just over a month since our earliest upgrade.
