In anticipation of Tuesday night's meetup with Gagan Biyani, we decided to put together a Questions/Comments post for Gagan to address after his talk.

Gagan is a genius when it comes to product design and has stated that if your company is pre- product/market fit, you should not be focusing on growth but instead, you should be studying your users and discovering what makes your product sticky.

    I would love to hear from Gagan about what platforms or tools he is using to capture analytics data on mobile, and if his analytics process differs significantly in a mobile vs web focused environment

    My question is:
    How soon do you start building a growth plan or process when your company and product is early? How to you split your focus between getting the core experience right (increase retention) and user acquisition (top of the funnel)?

    As a happy Sprig user, I'd love to hear more about the thought process behind delivery time.

    -CAN-SPAM: How to walk the the threshold between transactional emails and marketing emails. Sending repeated emails to users asking them to complete set tasks in their account setup process.
    -Email marketing tips on reengaging cancelled members
    -Tips, tricks, and hacks of referral marketing

    I'd like to hear how Gagan tweaks his growth plan & product roadmap in the context of an increasingly competitive, heavily funded market.

    (e.g., when a space starts to look like a horse race / market share grab, do you dial up focus on user acquisition? etc.)

    I'd love to hear how Gagan and his team plan to attract and hire servers. Has it been easy to hire new servers? If not, how are they approaching the problem and what sort of solutions are they experimenting with.

    Great thread. Be curious to learn what Sprig's conversion optimization stack is, and why these specific tools where chosen vs. others. (ex. Utilizing Visual Website Optimizer over Optimizely for reasons x, y, and z)
