If you had a Linkedin Group with tens of thousands of members, what would you do to monetize it?

First of all, those members should be active on your group. And then you can drive those people on your website where you actually monetize them.

Firstly, congrats if you managed to make such a group.

Secondly, you should understand that when it comes to members in any group, quality is better than quantity. If you have five thousand members who never interact with each other or do not put up any new content, then it would not be of much benefit. On the other hand, if you have just hundred active members, their continuous interactions will build a sustainable system which ensures a steady increase in members and activity.

Now, coming to your question. There are several ways to approach this, but a direct method to monetize it is probably not one since i doubt LinkedIn would allow you to do so. You can use the network to discuss content related to the niche of your website and then divert them to your website, where you can make them paid members for some product or service that you are providing. You can also setup an affiliate system for something related to the topic of your group, and then let only the group members be affiliates for free. This will give you a large affiliate base to start with. Another option may be to share your own affiliate links and make commissions, but please don't get carried away and start excessive spamming.

    All the best
