The question is about having customer survey or feedback survey on home page of the site. The said site, is used car buying and selling car. (www.motortrader.com.pk ) In your opinion, should we have it to get feedback and in order to enhance the user experience?

I wouldn't permanently put it on your homepage unless it actually improves an intended metric (and no important metrics go down). But having it on your home page for a short period of time to understand visitor needs and issues is a very smart idea. Even if you take a temporary it to your conversions, the learning can lead to much more important improved long-term results.

I would put a survey on other pages like search listing page; or a sub page. It would be better to get feedback from someone who used the page. A member survey would be much better :)

I would not do it to enhance user experience. But to get insight. You can do pop up surveys or less intrusive, a button on your webpage for instance to access it.

I believe you should consider sending out continuous surveys to your customers, after a sale for instance. Checking customer satisfaction and recommendation.

I am a co-founder of a survey software company, and we offer Free survey accounts at https://www.enalyzer.com if you want to start. We also offer surveytemplates related hereto if you are interested.

    Happy surveying.
