We are currently calling Test and Target script by DTM (Adobe Dynamic Tage Management). If we take it out of DTM and put directly in the page code, then should we put it above or below DTM script? And is there any problem that would arise due to this solution(in data capture) or is there any downside to this?

Hi - I'm a Solution Consultant here at Adobe.

I can advise that we would never recommend taking T&T out of DTM, especially if you are already running DTM on the page, for a variety of reasons. Not least that placing it correctly will require consideration of many other factors - with DTM it is a simple line of code in header/footer.

However, I would recommend you reach out to your account manager or CSM as there are likely to be specifics related to your account that I'm not familiar with.

    All the best!

What would be the problem if we implement it correctly? Also what other solution do you suggest to avoid flicker effect? We have contacted the account manager but the there is no satisfactory solution, for now our consultant have used the a javascript code to block the content till the loading of DTM script.

Unfortunately as I have no familiarity of your account, it is difficult to give a precise answer.

However, generally speaking, deploying it correctly on its own will be fine - however it could be problematic in the future with regards to the correct load sequence of different AMC solutions and VID. DTM handles all that for you, in addition to ensuring future compatibility with upgrades to each solutions.

Short term, it will be fine. But for long term I wouldn't recommend personally.
