I wish I was a marketer so I can actually "sell" my product but unfortunately I'm just a developer. Title was kind of clickbait. Was I a marketer for a minute? Let me get back to what I'm really here for. I created an app called Mimic, simple app where people can copy each other and challenge other people to copy them. Think of cinnamon challenge, ice bucket challenge, condom challenge, Kylie Jenner lip challenge... but on Mimic I made the app but what now, how can I get it out there? Pay influencers to promote it, post on reddit, do "invite"system... Guys, I need some help here

I wish I was a little bit taller
    I wish I was a baller
I wish I had a girl who looked good, I would call her
    I wish I had a rabbit in a hat with a bat
    And a six four Impala

Usually, the quickest and easiest way to get your app out into the market is to spend a few bucks and do digital advertising. Mobile advertising is generally cheaper than desktop advertising so you will get more reach for your dollar. Also, social networks like Facebook has a lot of targeting options so you can target the people who are more likely to install and use your app. Not to mention, you can also install their SDK so you can track usage.

Since this is a social app, you will also want to have incentives for your existing users to invite their friends to install and use your app. You can get them virtual or monetary rewards, the former being the easier and cheaper option.

I run digital advertising campaigns for startups similar to yours; I'd be more than happy to speak with you further about setting up and running a campaign.

Thanks for the tip. I'll hold on with campaign for now, I'll try with some "free" methods at the beginning
