Most of us know how hard it is to set up GTM, well hard means writing code to set up data layer, pushing into production, setting up events and its data. If we could reimagine GTM how would that be? I have an answer but would like to hear from you guys first.

I would want to see a similar setup process like Zapier where they take you through each step similar to a guide instead of just a whole bunch of options and fields. The process should start with the goal (i.e. "I want to set up Facebook advertising tracking") and filter out the options on how to implement the tracking pixel.

Would like to hear your thoughts :)
I'm working now on a pet project which allows transferring data from an analytic tool into any other. I do it just because of GTM is terrible, even in case I'm tech savvy enough, lol.

And also I like how Segment does it. Not the same stuff, of courses, but still help me a lot

We recently launched Action Recorder - point-click tool to track customer data and sync it 3rd party marketing tools including marketing data lake, ad platforms, analytics, email marketing.

To track events on an e-commerce website it'll take 70+ man hours for a developer to implement Google Tag Manager.

With action recorder, you can track an e-commerce website in less than 1 hour and no developer needed.

Action Recorder can also sync the data with marketing data lake/data warehouse from which you can,

      a) Track individual events of a customer / anonymous visitor and build entire lifecycle journey.

      b) Attribution at event level, customer level and session level (You can pull the reports)

      c) Build marketing data lake (Combine data from various places, which ads they clicked, emails opened, time of the emails, products purchased, products attributes like sleeves, price, color, etc). We can also track word-of-mouth marketing too.

All of this can be done without writing a single line of code.

      If you can code,

      d) Build predictive models on top of this raw data (need coding) for core personalization.

Your views are appreciated. We are all ears.
