Here's a quick overview of how our business works:

  1. (Step 1) Traffic
  2. (Step 2) Request quote
  3. (Step 3) If quote accepted, enter client info into job tracking software

How would you track conversions from Step 2 to Step 3? After a client accepts our quote, we manually enter them into our job tracking software.

Another business scenarios:

Local flower shop - Advertise on Google, customer sees ad, clicks on ad, comes into shop, buys a bouquet of flowers. Lisa sees no conversion.

Restaurants - Advertise on Google, customer sees ad, clicks on ad, finds address, drives to restaurant, dines in. Bob sees no conversion.

Do you collect PII on a quote?
Couldn't you just match your quote database to your new customer database for attribution?

What's a PII? Googled it and got "phase locked loop", "pretty little liars", etc.

        Personal Identifiable Information = PII
In other words do you collect name/address when you get quotes?

Any kind of CRM should let you do this. Tie your leads into a CRM and then you can update lead status once the business is closed.

    Some to look into:

    Salesforce
    Close.io
    Marketo
    Hubspot

Thanks for the reply, Jesse. Yes, integrating our leads into a CRM is the easy part. But what about leads to offline sales? Do you think there is an automated way to do this?
