I just launched the first in a series of three Facebook ad/audience building experiments for GrowthBOKs. I’m testing a few new tactics using Facebook ads and video. The three videos in the queue are… - The overlooked conversion trigger that nearly guarantees sales… (LIVE NOW: https://growthhackers.com/articles/the-conversion-trigger-that-nearly-guarantees-sales) - Our Most Persuasive Sense… (COMING NEXT) - The personal key to unstoppable growth (COMING LAST) The experiment follows the growth engine process, which is part of why I’m doing it. The doors to Zero to Growth Engine (my course) open in a few weeks. I’m thinking about sharing the results, things like traffic and conversion data, as well as ad costs and performance. It’ll be a clear view of what worked and what didn’t. Would you be interested in that stuff if I organized an update? Let me know if yes, I don’t want to waste time if not. If there is enough interest, I’ll also do a final roundup that compares data and results from all three experiments. It will be a lot of work, so let me know if you think that would useful. -Kev

    Hi Kev - are you asking for methods on how to decrease conversion costs or are you trying to survey the community to see if they are interested in your results? I'm happy to answer either, I'm just a little confused by your intent (maybe the coffee hasn't kicked in yet).

    Hey Justin... thanks for the question. I'll clarify.

    I'm knee deep in an experiment to decrease Facebook ad costs, testing video ads and remarketing (+ more).

    I was surveying the community to see if anyone would be interested in reading the results. I reached out to a couple other communities... and the response has been positive. So it's going to happen.

    I'll update this thread with the details.

    Great topic. I myself managed to decrease cost for a campaign in a Norway by using video instead of image in ads by ca. 35-40% and relevance score increase from 5 to 8.

    Thank you for the clarification. We've all seen these sort of studies available online. What would be great (for me, at least) is to see something that hasn't been written yet - maybe a new take on the whole optimization/cost-reduction.

      Thanks Justin... where do you see the gap between what's available and what you want to learn? In other words, what, in your eyes, would be a new take on the optimization/cost-reduction?
