I am looking to revamp the company's team page and planning to get rid of team member's individual profile images. Is there any points I should consider before proceeding with this? If you know any stats/tips that can help me to take the right call, then please share with me. Thank you.

This is probably best answered through an a/b test. I think for many businesses team images can improve trust and therefore increase signup and purchase conversion rates. But my guess is that if you test it, you won't see a strong signal either way. In that case you can just do what you prefer. Please share the results with us if you decide to test it!

A/B testing the page sounds the right way to proceed, without doubt. Thank you Sean once again for your invaluable inputs. Will share some interesting insights from the A/B test results as soon as enough data is gathered :)

I think testing wouldn't serve the purpose.

Individual profile of each employee may matter to a small service company- like an agency. It's because every employee is going to be directly involved in the overall experience. When the company grows bigger even that becomes immaterial and only the portfolio matters.

For a product company, my gut feeling says that client gives zero ducks to who is on the team. I would doubt that a high profile team would even remotely influence a prospect to change his decision.

I agree with Sean but wanted to add that in addition to building trust, it can also be a good representation of your company culture. Showing the images of the actual faces behind the company is almost a sneak peek into what's behind the branding, and potential customers may really appreciate that.

And I second that if you A/B test, I'd love to hear the results!

I agree with your point. Definitely doing a A/B test for the team page. Will share the results with everyone. Thank you Amanda for the help :)

We thinks it's essential to the integrity of our company culture and the collaborative spirit of our team members to showcase everyone on our company page (https://www.prialto.com/team). Having everyone's photo online gives us all a feeling of inclusiveness and commitment, and highlights each of our unique stories to potential and current clients. We wouldn't have it any other way!
