How do you perform a cohort analysis by products bought?
What are you trying to learn by this? Are you trying to figure out how many repeat customers you are getting for an e-commerce store? Or is this more like a "How do I do this on Google Analytics" sort of question?
I'm trying to analyse if customers first bought Product A, what other products have they bought vs customers who first bought Product B.
In a marketing agencies case, it could be customers who first bought their SEO service, what other services did they buy vs customers who are their social media clients.
I tried poking around Google Analytics on an e-commerce client's account and couldn't find much. You might have a little luck by digging into your e-commerce platform to see if they can provide you with some information.
Another option is to export any available data and then break it down in an Excel spreadsheet. You might be able to filter the data so you can see how many times someone ordered Product A and Product B, etc.
