Ask GH

Hey all! I'm new to the GrowthHackers community. My big question is - how do you optimize your CTR for your content on organic search and Facebook?

What formats of headlines do you love? How do you format your metadata and your post copy? I want all your tips and tricks!

Thanks, I look forward to following you all.

One thing you can do if you want to optimize your CTR for a specific keyword is to see what the meta-title's of other results look like and then creating a title that sticks out.

Another thing you can do is add schema markup to your site so you get "rich snippets".

Finally, you can use google search console to see what keywords a page ranks for and then optimize the title and description specifically for that keyword (very efficient tactic).

      Thanks for the reply Kevin!

Do rich snippets do much for blogs? I was under the impression it is more for pages with reviews and such?

depends on the rich snippet but you can have breadcrumbs or even a review of the blog article (add schema markup and a plugin that allows users to review the article with 1-5 stars).
