    Usually, when I am comparing SaaS platforms, I will do a search online and find dozens of articles by SaaS companies comparing their product features to their competitors. I would try creating a landing page with your new features and how it drives a competitive advantage over the competition and then share that content through your marketing channels.

      Do you think a Press Release that incorporates a constructive quote from a big-ticket client regarding the feature in question helps in this regard?

        Press releases are supposed to be more about your company and less about others so adding a constructive quote from a big-ticket client will drive stickiness and credibility. For example, a quote from Justin Adelson will increase your credibility since he is a marketing expert who has been in the field for 15 years; a quote from Sean Ellis significantly increases your credibility since he is THE thought leader in Growth Hacking.

    Check out Quora for relevant questions. usually, a lot of people are looking for advice about tool or software there.
    also don`t forget about ProductHunt, Reddit, Stumbleupon, Hacker News etc.
    these are good platforms to reach your potential customers!

    https://www.producthunt.com/ seems to be a great place for SaaS businesses to make connections and announce updates. You could also send out a press release using a platform like https://www.newswire.com/.

    If it's a brand new tool then you could distribute your new product via https://startuplister.com/ - you could choose to pay them to do it or do it manually.

    The last idea I have is using something like http://bitesizepr.com/ to respond to journalists asking for input from SaaS professionals.
