Keeping teams focused on their tasks can be really difficult, and sometimes the answer is in "releasing" some of the steam caused by the office atmosphere on both development and growth teams. For that, I was wondering on how to increase office productivity and engagement by creating a "Casual Friday", only different - with pajamas. Have you ever heard about building a bond between teams with activities such as that?

    The best growth hack I've ever come across is to ensure that the team stays motivated.
    Things like pajama days etc are tactics that may or may not work over the long term.

    To understand how a team can truly be motivated I'd suggest watching this video: https://growthhackers.com/articles/dan-pink-the-puzzle-of-motivation/

    Sure, our Austin office actually did this a week ago. They seem to have enjoyed it :)

    At Whitesmith.co, we are a multi-site team (Portugal, Brazil and UK) and sometimes it's hard to engage with everyone. We use some tools to help us communicate (Slack, google hangouts, etc) and we also implement some ideas to be more in touch with people that is out of the office.
    Here are some of our remote-friendly activities:
    - Monthly meeting with everyone where we share the status of our projects, people, and other important things;
    - Each friday, a member of our team presents a Lunch-n-Learn session, we lunch and learn something new from our colleagues;
    - Each week, a member of our team have to promote a team activity (watch a movie, quiz night, online games session, etc);

    We are having really interesting results and our team just love these activities.
