Hey, awesome digital marketing people! I have a queston about digital marketing software in general. What kinds of metrics do you look at when you have more than 3 similar solutions? This means you'd need to spend more than a few hours checking them properly. I conduct the following checks: - Price - Functionality - If a tool allows, navigation and UX - G2Crowd (but not always)

    Steven, thanks for your comment! The article was updated on a previous. However being honest interface sucks even more, adding dashboards and other useful metrics don't really solve their main UX/navigation issues.

      I agree that it's always great to put a tool through your own test, but sometimes a tool doesn't allow you to do so because it requires payment from the beginning. Technically, you can often coordinate a trial by writing to their support team, but it's a time-consuming exercise. So, I wonder about any situation where you can't try the solution you're considering.

      I want to use this post to continue working on a comparison of various backlink tools, but I'm not sure that the metrics I've selected are the most crucial.
