Wanted to check in if anyone else saw a big difference in their cost of paid acquisition immediately following the election. We saw a big increase in CPIs hit the day of the election and return back to normal on Saturday. Would love to know if this was an isolated or if other orgs noticed that election news consumed their ad attention.

    I saw a spike as well but mainly due to the fact we are in the gold bullion space and the night of and day after election searches for gold spiked so I think all competitions started buying up more space.

    I did see a spike, not directly after the election though. Might have to do something with Facebook targeting fake news (trying to keep trolls from posting ads) or also the festive season coming up and so.
