I want to create a 'cold mailing list' with potential hires. Is there a way to create such a list in a 'non-manual' way? At this moment I use tools like emailhunter to get the emails, but it's too much manual hassle to do it for over 500 people. :)

From my knowledge, your best bet is to run a bot that automatically adds people based on criteria you set then grab their emails the old fashioned way - exporting your LI contacts to CSV. From here, it's just sorting by date added.

I've been using dux-soup which is a chrome extension that does this very thing. It let's you target linkedin profiles that match your criteria and then automatically visits each profile on your behalf in the background. it won't get you emails right off the bat, but curious people will click into your profile and connect.

You can also use the tool AnyGrowth - it lets you scrape targeted lists and then email (but unfortunately its not free & how many emails you get are limited ...).

Use Email Hunter Chrome Extension. Then when you refresh Linkedin everyone's name will have an email hunter button next to it.

This will serve up to the best of its abilities what it thinks the persons' email is with a confidence score (you can double check any of these in your inbox with rapportive).

Now if you search for 'John' you will get a list of search results you can select all and then add them to a prospecting list. You are limited to 150 API calls/month on a free plan but reckon it's a pretty good way to go.

Hi, I'm using Prospect.io for this one now. It allows you to create lists as well. Is there a way to automate this process?

I've used sellhack which is an extension - super easy to use. But I find the problem with linkedin is a lot of emails bounce back!

Hey Yannick- I did not write a script, instead, I used tool https://datafy.it/en/ and got 7k+ business leads (filters: job titles, companies industries) with this. Check out what else is out there and if results fits your needs. Many of these tools give you a free trial. Happy converting! :)

There's a couple of bits of software that I'd recommend:

eLink Pro - this will step through each person returned in a LinkedIn advanced search therefore showing you as a viewer of their profile. Surprisingly effective at generating inbound leads.

ProfileHopper - the same as eLink but goes a step further and adds each of the profiles to a downloadable CSV that you can then use a resourcer to find the email addresses for you. Very effective.
