Ask GH: Which "online documentation" tool or framework are you using?
We are currently using HelpNDoc and i'll say it, it sucks! It's old school and it generates html with framesets... We are looking to change it.
We use uservoice. http://help.sprint.ly/
We actually use Github for our docs. All the docs sit in a Repo which we reference.
Works extremely well, except when Github is down.
Thought I will point you to https://InlineManual.com (disclaimer - I am the founder). We always struggled with creating documentation for our end-users (screenshots, screencasts,...)
It is interactive and on top of your application, so people are learning by doing. There is also an export to HTML, which autocaptures screenshots for you.
