I've been searching quite a bit. I want something that allows non opt-in emails, easy A/B testing of cold emails, easy to read click rates, open rates and possibility to send quite a large number of outbound emails. Basically I want to the best tool to build and do conversion rate optimization on our newly set up outbound sales funnel. The best tool for Predictable Revenue, Cold Calling 2.0. And cheap if possible :)

    Have a look at Salesflare 😉

    Check out http://Close.io - we build it for *exactly* that purpose inhouse (have been developing and scaling sales campaigns for 200+ venture backed startups using the Predictable Revenue model), and then released the product to the public in 2013.

    All the things you listed... you can do with Close.io :) Including one-click calling from within the app and automatic tracking of your incoming and outgoing sales emails and even phone calls.

    The only thing we're not... is cheap. But then, what's it worth to you when using our software helps you close more deals than you would otherwise? :)

      Hi Ramin,

      Yes we've looked into close.io and our only blocker was price. It's not a huge blocker but we already pay for so many tools we were hoping to find a more affordable solution. As you mention and as with any GH effort, it will come down to ROI.

      Do you have a link to a case study about it? I didn't remember seeing anything about uploading an excel email list and being able to send 2-3-4 consecutive emails in a row automatically.

        Hi Ranga,
        we're working on getting customers to allow us to turn their results into case studies, but the challenge is that sales-driven companies don't want to reveal their numbers publicly.

        Btw here's also a case study how Foursquare switched from Salesforce to Close.io and the effect it had on their sales team (e.g. instead of having to do 16 clicks in Salesforce to log a call, just 2 clicks in Close.io.     My Sales Dev team, or inbound reps, use Toutapp really heavily and they really dig it. My Market Dev team (outbound) mostly uses Sendbloom because it allows them to create non-opt-in drip campaigns that auto-"bump" prospects over time. It also allows you to build out prospecting lists at scale. Think of it as a hybrid between Builtwith and Toutapp. I know Salesloft also just launched an email prospecting/campaign mgmt tool, but i don't have any feedback on how good/bad that is.

    Unfortunately I don't know of any of these tools that measure A/B testing w/ statistical significance etc baked in. So that sucks. But I know Toutapp is working on that :)

    Hi David. I recently had a demo of a product that will meet some of your needs: https://salesbeach.com. Their tag line is "Automate Outbound Prospecting." I haven't started using it yet, so I can't speak to how well it works. However, it's definitely worth checking out.

    Hi everyone,

    Thanks for sharing insight on your tools and combos! I’d also like to share a couple ideas that we implemented in our company.

    When we were deciding on our tool stack at Growbots, first thing we took into consideration was versatility - we wanted software that could be used by SDRs, as well as by Customer Success and Account Executives.
    Finally, we decided on three tools only in our sales pipeline - the combination that we're using is: Close.io + Growbots + Intercom.
    In fact, we needed a set of tools that would support our outbound sales platform in lead nurturing, customer engagement, and the most important thing was to find a lean CRM provider.
    So in brief, our process looks like this: we generate lists of prospects with Growbots and create the initial drip campaign, then when receiving response, we use Close.io to manage further communication, set tasks, mark opportunities - each of our teams uses their own smart views and tickets. And then, with a deal closed, we use Intercom in-app to communicate and engage our customers.
    In my opinion the combination works pretty fine - it enables us to have the whole process under control - since we started using it, we've noticed much fewer leads slipping away, we've increased our deal conversion and limited our churn rate.

    Hey David,
    Anything for cold emails, you would want to pick a tool that can also help you fetch more leads when you run out of your own. Tools which can help continuous automated follow ups etc.
    Try tools like -

    https://www.outreach.io/ - high growth app, not a lead gen tool but mostly ability to email from anywhere & stay on top of your campaigns etc. Bit expensive

    For cold email and lead generation, you might want to try these tools/services:

    InspireBeats - http://inspirebeats.com - An all in one lead generation and outbound sales solution that can help you build a list of targeted leads and warm them up for you, so that you only deal with leads that are interested.

    Linkedin Sales Navigator - This is one of my most favorite tools of all time. It's quite cheap and you can narrow down your ICP to company size and role. Great filter options.

    Automated Outbound Sales - Carburetor - http://Carb.io - Another great tool and service ran by Aaron Ross that can help you find targeted leads as well as do the outreach.

    https://salesloft.com/ - The cadence works really well and you can send and track emails directly from it.

    https://www.outreach.io/ - A lot of people are using this app nowadays. It's great for growing sales teams to boost your sales automation.

    At the end of the day you should choose a solution that works with your current team and needs. If you only need leads and have sales guys, you might just want a tool that help you find the correct contact information.
