Ask GH: What are some of the best mobile landing pages you've seen?
I've been thinking about new ways to optimize our mobile landing pages and have been having some difficulty finding great mobile landing page experiences.
Anything come to mind?
I really like the mobile landing page for dropbox's carousel app (https://www.carousel.com)
Yeah i like the CTA right at the top and how they incorporate the image through every screen (while still keeping the CTA on the top). REALLY nice site. Thanks!
The kissmetrics site is also very nice on mobile.
I agree they keep it really simple with the "Log In with Google" which helps with a quick sign up.
Great one, thanks! This is the perfect example I guess.
How about https://www.trippeo.com
that one could use some improvements, it's hard to scroll without skipping some containers
It's also too long, they need to cut-off some content
I always loved Jelly's landing page.
It is really simple but for people like me who don't know what jelly.co is, I think it doesn't really explain itself. When I clicked on the blog link to find out more I was just sent to an updates page. Took a few clicks to realize it was a questions site.
I guess if people already know what it is it's useful but I would probably like to see at least a line with their elevator pitch.
Check out this one from khan academy http://digifire.in/2014/07/23/10-tips-for-mobile-e-mail-marketing-with-examples-khanacademny-com-bigbasket-com-etc/
Very prominent CTA.
YUS. Thank you thank you thank you.
the standard page you can make with http://www.snackwebsites.com works pretty nice on every mobile (and desktop too, but you can use it only for a mobile version of the site)
Whoa I haven't seen this yet but I definitely like it. It won't work necessarily for what I'm using now but I definitely have a few people who I'm going to send this to immediately. Thanks :)
Are your mobile pages coming before the app store to increase conversions or is this goal something other than driving mobile downloads?
ahhh great question - it's actually trying to get people to sign up for a service that works best on desktop (Shopify). Any suggestions?
Little bit of a different approach in that they capture a registration on the handset, then drive you to the desktop to get started, but I've always loved www.squarespace.com. Simple, great use of video, but you don't need to watch in order for the flow still to make sense.
I know right? everytime I go on there even just to have a look, I end up wanting to create a site just because it looks good.
Damn handsome, there is no doubt!
www.quotelab.com mobile landing page is one of the most effective lead funnels I've seen. It's got a very unique "unrolled" form entry design.
Quartz (qz.com) on mobile is really great and is the first one that springs to mind!
