Any recommendations for online resources to learn about data management, data modeling, and data warehousing??
I am looking for resources to learn about some of the key skills required in becoming a systems and data analyst as we look to grow out that capability internally.
I really liked this book on the subject:
Agile Data Warehousing for the Enterprise: A Guide for Solution Architects and Project Leaders
- Ralph Hughes
Read this response by @colinzima from his AMA a while back: https://growthhackers.com/amas/live-mar-10-ama-with-colin-zima-chief-analytics-officer-vp-of-product-at-looker/#comment-48739 (the entire AMA is awesome btw and will likely give you some of the answers your looking for)
Similarly, read through all of @dtunkelang's AMA which has a lot of insights on this topic: https://growthhackers.com/amas/live-mar-1-ama-with-daniel-tunkelang-data-scientist-engineer-leader-ex-google-ex-linkedin/
there is a free course on https://www.codecademy.com/ if you want to learn SQL. Maybe that can be of help
Thanks all! Much appreciated.
