Since 2014 Liven has grown to service 400,000+ users transacting at 1,000+ venues in Australia’s two largest cities, Sydney and Melbourne, with international expansion beginning in Q3 2019 in Asia, UK and the US. Annualised run rate of tens of millions in payments already, Liven rewards users with our network currency for every transaction they make. Liven is already integrated with a number of key Point of Sale (POS) partners allowing it to reach more than 20,000 venues. The next step in the evolution of Liven is the addition of blockchain to this payment system through the incorporation of an Ethereum ERC-20 token called LivenCoin, or LVN.

What you’ll do
The scale of this role and the problems we will face is unlike any other growth challenge in the market today.
Develop and build a world-class growth marketing operation at Liven as we scale to supporting 30 cities in the next 3 years.
You’ll be leading a team of growth marketing professionals and help them grow their careers while achieving Liven’s growth goals. From those with startup experience to fresh faced interns and expert freelancers.
Establish, implement, and measure the effectiveness of growth initiatives to drive adoption and engagement for the LivenPay app.
Use customer lifecycle based marketing strategies to acquire, engage, retain, and win-back customers using mobile marketing automation.
Manage and track marketing budgets and ensure effective budget use, meeting or exceeding efficiency targets.
Test and learn across mobile channel, managing multivariate and A/B testing campaigns.
Lead the management of creative and media freelancer and agency partners, fostering best-in-class and highly productive freelancer and agency partnerships.
Drive weekly, monthly, quarterly optimisation tactics that consistently improve each digital funnel’s efficiency.
Developing and building a scalable growth engine for referral virality.
Leverage customer insights learnings, and think creatively about how to segment, target and reach potential customers and ensure validation through testing.
Closely monitor, measure and report on acquisition marketing budget and growth through daily reporting & bid and budget optimization, and A/B testing to improve the ROI of your campaigns.
Collaborate closely with technical, business, and design teams within Liven to ensure alignment across the business.
Complete weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance analysis and projections, showcasing results to the executive leadership team.
What you’ll need
A growth mindset with an extreme passion for Liven, the mission, and our core cultural values.
An intuitive high level understanding of front end code (HTML, CSS, JS),
UX design, customer journey mapping and a keen interest in behavioural psychology.
A proficient understanding with some practical hands on experience in web analytics, UX design, automation & APIs and machine learning/AI.
Broad yet up-to-date understanding with hands on experience in paid social, SEO/SEM, programmatic, native, content, CRO, retargeting, community management, mobile marketing tools, PR, email, influencer, virality, affiliate, ASO & lifecycle hacking.
Strong understanding of mobile marketing automation strategies preferred with experience on a consumer app business.
5+ years of relevant work experience at a startup or client-side marketing management, with particular emphasis on consumer apps and technology.
Strong and proven leadership track record, with a deep understanding of EQ and its role in unlocking great potential in high-performing individuals and teams.
Deep passion for entrepreneurship.
Knowledge and passion for blockchain technology preferred but not essential.
Deeply analytical, experienced, and comfortable with using both quantitative AND qualitative data to drive key business decisions and strategy.
A rare mix of creative and analytical thinking, developing unique and innovative engagement tactics while using metrics to identify key insights.
Taking an agile approach to all aspects of the business, ideating, testing, iterating and scaling at a local/regional level.
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Experienced and comfortable with proactively engaging stakeholders and working cross-functionally with multiple teams.
You've grown a user base and a company, and are excited to use that experience and knowledge to build a community of millions.
You’ve had extensive experience developing and executing marketing strategies from the ground up so you’ll naturally co-create and own the growth marketing strategy at Liven.
Experience initiating and driving projects to completion with minimal guidance.
