Thanks Tyler Basu for sharing this wonderful resource. Content is NOT limited to the written word. Videos are on the rise. And thus the need to optimize videos.
Are the channels in the same space? Do they produce similar content? I think context is needed to give a great answer, but off the top of my head I was thinking you could do a special promo if they go check out (subscribe/comment/etc.) the bigger channel. Present a huge value proposition, i.e. everyone that subscribes/comments/etc. has a chance to win something for free.
Again, it's difficult to give great advice with no context. Let me know more in depth and I'd love to try help.
I agree - video is all the rage right now. Everyone is jumping onboard with Facebook live, Instagram stories and Snapchat.
I am just getting around to doing videos. I don't know much about the tools out there - which is one of the reasons why I've hesitated because I want mine to be clean and professional looking.
Thanks for giving me a head start. There are a couple on this list you shared that I will be looking into for sure!
Thanks for sharing this. I am still very new to video marketing but I know it is on the rise and in trends. These list of tools you mentioned are so useful but I do have a bit worry about the investment and if it is worth it.
Forwarding it to some of my clients. :)
Videos are so popular that I'm not surprised new startups are being created to help others with THEIR video creation and marketing.
Delmondo sounds simply fabulous!
It's great to see a familiar name associated with it, too. (Gary Vaynerchuk is an investor in it. This guy is AMAZING.)
Really great article post, Thank you for sharing this information.
Creating online videos can be tricky for many. I have tried it a couple of months ago but didn't really get the spark I was looking for.
It's always good to know about the startups and the listed platforms are flourishing. Filmoria seems to be an interest desktop app.
Glad to know about it.
Thanks for sharing those video tools, Eren.
Like Brenda, I'm not a great video watcher so haven't used it much myself, but I realise I'm in the minority - especially with the statistics quoted. I wonder how people find the time to watch all these videos, but clearly they do!
So then it's onto how to make videos that look more professional than those I shoot on my phone (which are dire).
The video tools you introduced us to have that covered. I especially like the way Stories Ads nabbed your email by producing a free video for you. Irresistible marketing :-)
All look very promising Eren. Wistia seems really cool because it gives companies greater control in sending out a clear brand message. I dig it. All the startups though have some super redeeming qualities, and video is something we all need to pay attention to, in order to position ourselves for the future. Great list!
Good stuff. I'm going big on video in 2018 and actually construction on our mini-video studio starts in 2 weeks.
I almost bought Wistia a few years back, a lot of marketers recommended it and I know it's only gotten better since then. I'll have to do another comparison with Vimeo Pro which is what I've been using now for hosting.
Slingstudio looks interesting to me as well and I will have to look up more information on how it can help. My main goal is to be able to broadcast to Facebook, YouTube and Instagram at the same time.
