It seems like it made more sense not to go after the "big dogs" in an era when so much of the qualifying and sales process couldn't be automated with AI and user intelligence. In this day and age startups should be able to empower themselves to pitch enterprise-level leads without bringing on the biggest or most expensive sales teams.
It was an honor to be featured alongside such knowledgeable industry experts. I'm definitely going to be looking into some of the lead gen tools mentioned here - there were some great insights on each.

Finally some common sense approach to automation instead of hype. Thank you! I'm especially annoyed by the chatbot craze.
I suggest you hire a VA to collect the leads for you. let's say you have a plan and you know where your leads are handing out online. example: Restaurants.
You ask your assistant to search through Yelp for restaurant in your targeted area. make a sheet of decision makers, emails, company names etc. and use an email marketing campaign on something like reply.io or outreach.io build a sequences of email automation with follow ups.
Then IMPROVE from the results you get from those analytics. This is just an example. but you can be more creative or invest more money on tools that can generate leads for you such as zoominfo or Linkedin Sales Navigator(Both platforms are different and zoominfo is extremely expensive.} You get your database from those platforms then put it on execution with an email sequences and automations.
