Every craftsman knows that to get a job done well, you need to have the right tools. Although there are many marketing tools that can help you get your message out there, webinars rank as the #1 tool for modern day marketing. Webinars give marketers the chance to demonstrate and showcase their products to a live audience. What’s more, you can interact with your audience in a real-time. Also, online conferences can be used to both boost your email marketing campaign and strengthen your social media strategy. Let’s look at the many reasons why investing time and resources into creating web conferences is a smart marketing strategy.

    Interesting read, Erik!

I had no idea that webinars were helpful for SEO. How does that even happen? I can see webinars being useful for engagement, training, and of course being cost effective, but SEO? Amazing!

I would love to know more about Webinars and how they can help businesses. Thanks for sharing it.

In my business we already use webinars to get authority speakers to deliver content of far better quality and quantity than I could ever do myself.

It's a great use of everyone's time because they can be recorded, used over and over again, and shared regardless of location. When there's a lot of complicated content in a presentation it's good to have the recording to go over and pause / replay to clarify a point.

Interesting to read about the SEO benefits of webinars.

Thanks for a great share, Erik.

I know a lot of people who hold webinars simply to increase their subscriber list and gain more customers. Webinars are becoming hugely popular and it's not surprising to hear that more marketers are using them to increase conversions!

I like the idea of having guest speakers. It makes things more interesting for the attendees.

    Nice share! :)

@erikemanuelli I agree with everything in this article about webinars. The fact that people are interacting in real time creates a certain emotional bond. Webinars accelerate the trust factor which is an essential element in doing business; especially online.
The fact that you can also repurpose the content in the webinar is a huge benefit. I would suggest creating an infographic for the most important portion of the webinar and distributing it online for more visibility.
You can also create blog posts, PDFs, slides etc. All of this takes time but it’s worth the investment in my opinion.

Hi Erik, I never thought of a webinar as a marketing tool. I can see how it can definately build authority. I like how people do have to sign up so you would be able to collect emails as well.
I didn't realize that webinars could increase search engine rankings too. It really looks to be a great way to market your blog or website. Thanks for sharing Erik.

    Hey Erik,

The Webinar is the most trending thing people are adapting. No doubt that video marketing works more than anything else.

You can demonstrate your product to the world live. I have watched a few webinars and people are trying hard to utilize this tool as their marketing strategy.

To me the #1 thing has always been building the connection with the audience since it's such an engaging platform. I suppose that's why they're so great at making sales.

Great idea to break up the content and repurpose it, both as standalone videos and the transcripts. I'm always supportive of making more out of the content you've already got so that's a great idea.

I hope to run more webinars this year, and especially some with guests as suggested!

I do need to get back into webinars Erik.

All the benefits are immense but I just plain had fun with this medium. So cool to chat, share, help and interact in a live setting.

I did them all the time when networking marketing many moons ago....in a diffie lifetime LOL. But my wife does them now. Loves 'em. She does paid classes that are just premium webinars and her following has expanded through this channel.

    Thanks for sharing.
