Some people love to write and receive funny sales emails. Others label them as cheesy and not too professional.

Having sent both kinds of emails, my numbers say that original cold emails that are based on "tasty" humor tend to perform better.

But what does "tasty" mean?

    Great post! Totally agree and I think it works both ways. It’s a lot more fun when you send a cold funny email. Keeps me motivated and eventually more productive.

    Great article! One thing that stands out - no matter fun or not fun the cold email... it has to be personalized.

    The more info you dig beforehand, the better. Otherwise you may be unintentionally making fun of something that is quite important for the prospect.

    Using a Humor in Sales Emails is Good Thing but sometimes it hurt all your marketing tactics, even it could be a reason to fail your marketing campaign. To, receive, great responses upon your sent emails, you should use highlights, funny lines, So that it could be readable for user who you want to read your email.

    Use crispy heading or subject line.

    Use highlights, and attention grabbing lines.

    Use peaceful end line and thank a user for reading your email.

    That's it.

    Use the above tactics and I'm damn sure you will get positive responses.

    Interesting article! I'm all for adding a bit of humor to sales or marketing comms, but it's also about knowing your audience and making sure your communication comes across as tasty and not tacky.
