Good example of being creative and hustling for a quick "investment". Curious if any of the credit was removed per Uber's TOS...Would be a shame as it appears like this was the perfect brand ambassador to help scale in this area.
It hasn't been removed yet. Hopefully I can use it all up before they do though. Regarding being a brand ambassador, I actually did receive an email from them about being a brand ambassador. It was probably automated because of my surge in referrals.
You could try the same but with Uber's driver referral program and make some real money. Uber pays $100-$500 per new driver.
Last I checked you have to be a driver though in order to be able to promote this. Uber makes their affiliate program very secluded and complicated which I really don't understand. Uber could see some serious traffic from an open affiliate system with affiliate managers, dashboards for affiliates etc.
Lyft has the same secluded awkward setup. Could be a great growth opportunity for them if they could do what Uber isn't willing to do and work with affiliates in an open program.

It can get messy... if you Google "uber promo codes" there are doesn't of websites using the Uber brand-name in their domain name...
