Scaling growth is hard – there’s only a few ways to do it.

When you study the most successful mobile/web products, you start to see a pattern on how they grow. Turns out, there’s not too many ways to reach 100s of millions of users or revenue. Instead, products mostly have one or two major growth channels, which they optimize into perfection. These methods are commonplace and predictable.

This is another great essay by @andrewchen that will be useful for both startup marketers and established company marketers. It mainly compares low risk hustle channels that are great for traction with the "shoot the moon" highly scalable channels. I love his recommendation to gradually shift effort toward the scalable channels. Highly recommend reading this one.

      Saw you tweet it.

Figured you had some IFTTT that pushed Andrew's posts via RSS immediately to GH. I somehow swooped in.

This is great. Does anyone have any case studies on Facebook's CTA sponsored posts. I've tested the "shop now" button, but haven't seen much traction. Would love to hear stories, examples. Thanks!
