The challenge that we content marketers face these days is not what content to create, but how to make it stand out from the rest of the blogs out there covering the same topic. Rand says the answer to this problem is that companies should focus on 10x content. Neil says to write long-form content. We say the key is the specificity strategy.

      Yeah there were a ton more ideas that we came up with for that one as well. We just tried to look at every step in the process and ask what is the challenge that most companies have with this and what can we write about it that's unique and specific.

    Hey @benjihyam ,

    Wow, great post! This was my problem, and in some ways still is. But I realize that being more specific also helps with targeting a specific market as well as SEO. We don't want to be on the bandwagon with water down content boring predictable content. Narrowing it down a couple of notches will making your content more interesting.

      I think most people have the same challenge - they have a ton of information and advice to give and that leads them to going too broad. It's just important to know that so you can ask yourself the question "is this specific enough?" the next time you sit down to write a post.

      That's what I've been doing recently and it's been working for me.
