The author explains why talking with our customers is essential to achieving product-market fit and growth.
Absolutely true, and this is why bootstraping works so well specially if you are a 1-3 people company.
I strongly feels that instead of talking to startup advisors, asking on quora/HN or asking to other startups, the best feedback you can get is from the customer. Only your customer will tell you what he want, why he wants and how much he is willing to pay for it, the rest of the people just don't care about you and will always give generic advice.
While building inBoundio (http://www.inboundio.com/), there was a user AImee who was also the first paying customer, she helped me to debug the site, told me the problems she is having etc. So in short, do not ask for feedback from outsiders, ask your own users and customers, they often give useful and unbiased feedback.
