We don't go into link pruning sorry- just because the topic of pushing the paid ads is so massive to cover on its own

My tl:dr notes on it
If you have too much weak content, then it can bring down your rankings for killer content on your site
At that point you have 2 options
Either:
Remove the content
Improve, curate a few posts together and republish AND promote it
Or if its actually great but no links, then just go out and build them

It's so painfully obvious that these are friends commenting ridiculously positive things to game the algorithm and get more people to click.
