Great post here and thanks for sharing.

Aside from Topsy, I've never heard about the other Social Media tools.

I'll take a look at them and see what I can make out of them.

In this time and age we all need at least one Social Media tool to leverage the social audience and get a piece of our Market share.

Thanks again for sharing this one.

The sheer number of social media tools available continues to amaze me.

I understand a lot of these tools are pretty expensive, and that's a common complaint I hear when I talk about them with people, but it's important to realize that for the right business these tools end up paying for themselves and actually make the business more money than what they cost, while saving a bunch of time as well. That's the whole purpose of buying them, right?

Fortunately HootSuite Pro does everything I need it to right now, but when the time is right and it makes sense I am completely willing to spend more money on something I think could help grow my business.

As social media grows in complexity and importance as part of the marketing mix, it's becoming more and more important to have a tool that can help streamline the process - and analyze the ROI.

There are so many tools out there to choose from, so I was pleased to see this list - with a wide variety of prices, right down to free. I was already familiar with Socedo and Topsy, but the others were new to me, so thanks for sharing.

Wow Erik the number of new tools coming out all the time is incredible. I will be checking out Topsy. One of the tools you have is like $300/mo. That seems a little steep for small businesses to spend. I know analytics are so important now for social media tracking but it is still pricey. I like Buffer and Social Suite myself. Thanks for sharing these Erik.

Hi, great list! I use Topsy and Socedo, loved it! But never use Cyfe and Personapp. I will surely try them out. Thank you for sharing and keep up the good work.

This is a nice list but there's room for a lot more tools - I guess you were focusing on the more obscure ones. I've loved Cyfe ever since I heard about it. It's really a great tool to bring everything together. Particularly for small business owners who don't have the time to log into each tool separately.

99 Social is a tool that's been around a while, yet we never hear about it. I like the concept but the pages they share in their portfolio don't seem to get much attention. I assume that's because the clients who hire them don't do much on their own. Goes to show, social media is way more than just quality content.
