This method brought in $4,000 of sales on day 1 for a business. It's simple and you can try it out to potentially increase your follow-back rate to 25%+!
Save this idea to your Projects:
Heard about this a while back from @austenallred not surprised to see he is the source on this one. This idea has worked wonders on some projects I've already done. Just saved it onto my latest project. Thanks for posting @brandwinnie.
Yeah it's a great little trick by @austenallred for sure. Thanks @martintmedina
I wonder how the follow-back ratio would change with the addition of a comment. I can only imagine there would be a notable increase, especially if the comment were specific and applicable to the photo.
You'd have something like this:
Follow --> Like --> Like --> Like --> Comment
Any increase would have to be weighed against the time it takes to think of and leave a comment, but I bet it would be worthwhile. It would go a long way to developing a relationship instead of just hoping for a follow back, too.
Awesome! Good share @brandwinnie
@sean Thank you sir
I do this strategy
@kayleighvanandelmdy with good results?
I did this but with a spin on one of the mobile apps I designed, coded and launched. It was a few years ago, so I am not sure if it still exists but I used the Instagress bot to automate the process. I got 35% follow-back rate. The difference being that I also left an automated, and randomized, message that was extremely relevant to the core unmet need that we were solving for our must-have segment.
On top of the follow-back success, which was not our north star metrics, we achieved thousands of download of our app at zero cost and time. We had a link in our bio to our app.
Hope this helps. But now that Instagram has shut down their public API, not sure if this is still doable.
Let me know!
Sounds cool! Many thanks.
