Reddit and Quora are two mediums that have great potential for online advertising but are not talked about enough.

This is why we decided to do something about it.

We ran an experiment to see what results we would get when running paid ads on Reddit and Quora.

    Thanks for sharing that Robert.

    It was a real eye-opener.

I knew Quora was extremely popular, but I had no idea Reddit was still so well-frequented!

Most important of all, I had never thought to take paid advertising on either Reddit or Quora.

As a personal aside, I do get fed up with the restriction of text on image ads, because I think text makes this clearer to the viewer (like that AT&T ad). So thanks for the very helpful tables showing the differences between the Reddit and Quora advertising platforms.

You are very welcome Joy. Indeed, the problem with text on image ads are somehow a big struggle for the ad creator, but here comes the creativity where you need to know what do you want to accomplish with your ad.

Excellent - and SO on the mark for me right now. I have accounts for both, but I haven't really gotten into them or used them very often.
I truly appreciate this because I'm looking into different types of marketing & when it comes to ads, I have little to no experience. I didn't even know these two platforms had ad capabilities until I read your post.
Thank you for putting this together. Definitely going to bookmark :)

You are welcome Dana. If you don't have any experience with creating ads, there is bannersnack.com that can automate your design skills :) - if I can say so.

Let me know if you launched any campaign how it worked for you.

      Thanks!

    Hey Robert!

Everything is revolving around marketing these days. It's been a while since I checked a few ads on Reddit. I am glad that it worked for you. No doubt, Quora is one of the best platforms to spread words about niche articles.
Many factors are involved in such experiments.

    Thanks for sharing with us.
    Cheers!
