Have you ever seen clicks in Search Console for queries that keyword research tools said have no search volume?

15% of Google searches every year are from completely new queries.

So if there is no trustworthy tool to identify these keywords, how do you find them?

Garit Boothe explains exactly how...

Another interesting note is that you can combine this technique with a robust long tail strategy. So publish hundreds of pages around, for example, city-based keywords or specific product long tails. Then double down on the queries with good impression data.

SEOTesting.com has 3 or 4 reports based on Google Search Console data just for this reason. So many opportunities found for keywords getting 1,000+ searches per month that get reported as 0-10 in other tools!
