Have been speaking to a bunch of e-commerce companies about using nudgespot. Based on my interactions have collated a list of email triggers that they would like to send. Thought it might be useful for other e-commerce companies too. Please add to the list if you've seen any other interesting triggered emails.

Nice one @raveen.
One thing I usually do as well is to find my top 10% loyal customer. These are the buyers with more than X orders and with more than Y products bought overall (X and Y depends on your business). It means he trusts your product and won't see problems spending more and spreading the word.
Send him an email (from the founder) asking him to give you feedback from the previous products he bought, and send him a discount code (encouraging him to share it with his friends).
I usually got 60-70% conversion rates on these.

Great idea @adrianoalmeida7. Sounds like a great way to increase customer loyalty.

Great list @raveen
Triggered emails have incredible ROI compared to "dumb" emails.
I actually just wrote an article about how you can use triggered Facebook ads to send specific messages to your customers and website visitors based on the actions they took on your site. Very similar to triggered email.

@aaronz Great article on creating triggered Facebook ad campaigns. I am a co-founder at Nudgespot, and we can hack this up using Nudgespot. Do you mind if i ping you offline to discuss this?
Aaron Zakowski
Hi @hsuresh glad you liked that article. Definitely feel free to get in touch. I'd be happy to help.

@adrianoalmeida7 Thanks. That's a great addition to the list. So what would the trigger be? Would be entry into the "loyal" segment?
Adriano Almeida
The trigger would be some defined number of orders and products the given customer has bought with you.
And yes, i think it sits at "loyal" segment.
Raveen Sastry
Thanks @adrianoalmeida7. On the same note maybe it would make sense to also trigger an email when a loyal customer "churns". Basically when he/she is leaving the segment.
