About 12 months back we launched our first major article on a brand new site.

We knew we needed to promote it, if we wanted to stand out, and so we went all out on the highest ROI methods that we could find.

20% effort for 80% results etc.

We tried a whole heap of techniques, but nothing really moved the needle the way that we wanted it to. And so we started to think outside the box.

From this, we stumbled upon a method we like to call 'Podcast Guesting'

(I'm not great at names)

Similar to a guest post in that you would create content and get a link, but here you speak on a show, and get a link back to your site.

The thing is?

We saw over a 60% success rate pitching shows, compared to a 2% success rate linkbuilding with other methods.

Better still?

The episode work itself takes maybe 90 minutes to do (including prep)

I don't know of a single other linkbuilding method that works so well, for such high value links.

(We're talking between DA50-DA84 links)

Not to mention, traffic, authority, referral sales etc

These were some HUGE shows also.

We're talking:

  • Co-Schedule
  • Active Campaign
  • Hustle + Flowchart
  • Copy Chief and many more

Pretty good right?

That's why this one method took our brand new site from DA ZERO to DA 46 all on its own...

We put it all together in this new guide, so you can learn to pitch and be featured on podcasts for your own business.

We break it all down from start to finish:

  • How to find shows
  • How to filter them
  • How to pitch and get accepted
  • What to do before, during and after the show
  • How to make it a stand out success
  • And how to get those backlinks!

Everything you need to pitch and be on shows in the next 30 days.

So what are you waiting for?

      Right?

I got a new backing light just before c-19 started to try and shoot some videos.

Then about 2 weeks later I tried to see if I could get a mic arm for more shows, and they had sold out of like 90% of podcast equipment!

So here's a weird turn of events.

So I'm out doing some manual outreach to influencers and marketers on Twitter who have shared our content before.

I see Neal Shaffer had been so kind as to share an episode interview that we did with co-schedule, and so I reached out to him to tell us about this new article.

        What was weird about that?

Viv was literally recording a podcast with him at the same time, and pitched him using this guide...
