What I learned from the article was how they leveraged Medium to gain significant traffic and what they did on Instagram.

Seemed like repeatable activities for people to try.

There should be a step 0 here - gather resolve. The list is so exhaustive and without resolve, you'll burn yourself halfway through and just quit. Awesome read BTW.

Funny you say that. When reading it ourselves its a mouthful so we asked them to add the checklist at the end.

Takes a lot of work to get results too =)

I liked best the simple things like the eMail footer hack and adding bonus content in exchange for the email address. Very cool!

This article definetely exposes the importance of growth prior to a funding campaign.

Great post. They seemed extremely organized and did a on of upfront work, which is ultimately needed for a successful launch.

I recently interviewed a customer who's goal was to raise $30K and they ended up raising that in the first few hours and closed at $690K for a watch. They also attributed much success to having a good Instagram follower strategy for launch day and they also implemented a good Twitter strategy.

Loved how they used KingSumo Giveaway tool and found a relevant prize to giveaway, thus building a better qualified list which is key.

    Awesome tips ~ Mike
