Big congrats to @andrewchen joining the supply-side growth team at Uber!
Should be a really interesting role @andrewchen . Congrats! First place I'd start is building a supply of women drivers and adding a preference for women passengers to request a woman driver. I know many women passengers and drivers would feel safer if this were an option and could help you tap into a huge supply of drivers.
Especially so in places like India.
Umm... I know I should be happy for @andrewchen and his new role at Uber.
But I am going to be a little selfish and say this sucks. I love the blog and newsletter. Another death to a great blog:-(

The dynamic of a two-sided marketplace is fascinating to me. I'd love to learn more about it but my basic understanding is that focusing on the supply side first is key.
Enjoy @SeanEllis point further pushing the supply side from a clearly identified unmet need to a clearly identified target. Makes total sense. And very marketable!
