Web accessibility and ensuring your content can be consumed by all people, is one of the most important issues facing online businesses today.

Yet still, it remains surprisingly under the radar amongst many brands, particularly with SMBs.

Times are changing and online businesses have a greater responsibility than ever to prioritize their website accessibility.

Thanks Erik for sharing this important one with so we can be sure our websites are complaint with these laws. It is important that everyone has access to our websites and are able to access them. Interesting to read about the Domino's Pizza case on this too!

I can see why this matters. You want everyone to be able to access your content. It isn't fair if a disability prevents that.
Very timely for me since I just spend hours on transcriptions for my most recent course to make sure the dialogue would be available if someone needed to read, rather than listen to my content.
    Thanks for sharing this.

That's an important side of the website accessibility too, Dana.
I'm working on transcriptions of my first videos too.

Thanks for sharing an enlightening article about the laws regarding the accessibility of websites.
It's so important that everyone can access information, including blind people!
I've been aware of this issue for a while because I have several visually impaired friends but I didn't know that there are actual laws that state websites must be accessible!

I'm pretty sure that Wording Well, my business website, meets all the criteria! :)

    Hi Erik,
Thanks for sharing this timely alert to the online community.
The author Ryan brought out well the importance of website accessibility in the days ahead.
Yes, as pointed out it should be available to all with much ease, especially to the disabled ones or the blind ones.
As the ADA very clearly insists on this and the other consequences if not followed is indeed a great alert to all.
    Thanks for sharing.
    Glad to share it again.
    Keep sharing.
    Best

Thanks for drawing our attention to this Erik.

It's an important topic for sure, with worrying consequences if ADA requirements not followed.

I hope that micro-businesses, like mine, will be able to comply without too much extra expense.
