Thanks Aaron. A lot of people ask about OKRs and North Star Metrics. Are they compatible? When should we develop these processes? Who should lead the charge? I wanted to share insights that could be practically applied in organizations large and small, and try to make it a little less daunting along the way. If anyone has questions, post them here and I will try to reply promptly.
Not surprisingly I've long been a big believer in the power of a North Star Metric. But with this article, you helped me understand how OKRs and a North Star Metric are not mutually exclusive and can be effectively woven together to help a time focus on the highest impact growth initiatives. And I love how you took a practical approach to implementing both and shared your real-world experience with many of the potential pitfalls.

Unfortunately, it can be difficult to understand how and when to use these tools, and how to make them impactful within your organization. I was hoping to shed some light on those areas.
