Google crawler specifically rate those websites higher who have a corresponding mobile apps installed on the user’s device. This is done broadly through –App indexing and deep linking.

App Indexing

Google’s new feature ‘App Indexing’ indexes apps for content and then displays those apps in the search results.

Deep linking

Deep linking consist of using a uniform resource identifier (URI) that links to a specific location within a mobile app. That means, not only the app will be launched when a specific page is requested through the search engine but the specific location within the app will be launched.
