It's VERY rare to find an industry with no competition (if you did, congrats!) so you need to answer the question on customer's lips - "why should I buy from you?".
This is where your USP comes in...
Really informative post on USPs! The same strategy can be applied when looking at a micro-level at your products. For instance, the handbag you're selling has several unique features, but the main one that drives purchase behavior is its "real gold clasp". This says something about who your customers are, and what they love about your products. Understanding USPs will inform product promotion, webshop design, and your brand narrative as a whole. So, so important!!
