It is astoundingly difficult to make it big in the SaaS world. What are the giants doing differently? What is it that they’re getting right to succeed when others don’t? The most successful SaaS companies are product-focused.

    I think this is true in ecommerce as well. You can do a lot to market an OK product - but eventually, the better product (experience) usually wins.

      So true. The product is the experience. Marketing should be a reflection of that experience.

      From observing my own behavior, there are some products I buy because of people's referrals, not because of great marketing. Other areas of marketing that are done poorly makes me more hesitant to buy.
